Where we came from

The church of God in Auburndale had its beginnings with three members in 1948 in a tent where the Auburndale Library is now located.  Following a two-week revival they moved to 523 Bridgers Avenue where they remained for 56 years.

In January 2007 we sold the existing church so that we could build a new facility at State Road 559 and Dickey Road. New Legacy Community Church facilites located in Auburndale Florida.

Our goal is to have:

a place where families can worship together

a place where groups of all ages will  have the space they need to provide a nurturing atmosphere of worship learning and fun

a place where everyone in the community is welcome
